I think I'm getting pneumonia
 

Been sick since Friday. Laying down now, my lungs are making a noise exactly like creaking rigging on a sail boat. Or kind of like someone walking on a creaky wood floor.
Time to see the dr.

Yeah it's real fun,I got it for the first time at the end of December:wall:The Doc gave me Z Pac I was back on track in 2 days,that Chit works well!

and i don't endorse many PILLS...

i had bronchitus last fall first time in many moons, and that stuff
cleared away all the mucous like magic....

I think Mucinex is just plain old Guaifenesin but I could be wrong about that. Either way, it helps.

My doctor said the cough has been particularly tenacious and has hung on sometimes for weeks in his patients. Just seems to be the way this year's flu is behaving.

On the plus side he saw fewer then normal numbers of patients go towards pneumonia or bronchitis.

I'm going for a run as soon as I can handle a flight of stairs without being completely out of breath and nearly passing out. It's the better then any drug for clearing out the lungs.

pneumonia is nothing to mess with ... fever, chills, can't breath ... not good.

i think i had the same thing people are describing ... i coughed so hard and persistently that i ended up breaking a rib or two earlier this winter. it hurt so bad when i coughed the doc had to break out the painkillers.

throat is still a bit raw.. nose is packed with yellow mucus a little light headed still but nothing like before..

now is the important part, Nebe, you have to drink the rest of it our of your system, smirnoff 100 proof works for me...
