We'll see how it works in a few days!

If by trying you mean the weasel...take off 1/4"-3/8" off the tail lenght...no belly lead and trade the top slot lip in for a center slot...and 3/0 treble hooks on the 4" plug.

Made this one 6 5/8", thanks for the info. Lip is a Pikie 3. I'll do the adjustments before I prime and then test...Thanks again Steve

The Goo Goo's are Prof. Paul's design and are perfect, could not believe how good they swam!

Yup, but your weighting of it makes a super plug!!

looks very nice, I would try the weasel without any changes. Sometimes a great plug with minor tweaks can still be a dynamite plug with a little different action that fish like as well, perhaps even a little bit better.

Look great, nice weasel.

First class stuff, thanks for showing it.

Those Goo Goos look great. They should kill the fish. Are you using siwash or trebles on the tail?

No treble, dressed siwash works, maybe just a flag though.

seabuggy 03-12-2011 09:58 PM

The dressed siwash seems to make those Goos swim even better. I think you got it right.

Got out this morning to test the Weasel. I tried it w/ 3 diff. lips, Danny 2, Pikie 2 and 3, all high slot. Swam ok w/ danny lip but to much roll for me, Pikie 2&3 were pretty much the same and I liked the action, on top, with tail halfway above water with a nice wiggle and wake pretty much the same as a surfster.
