Many have expressed there support for a reduction in the striper harvest. Here is an opportunity to let them know what you want before their meeting. Reducing coast wide mortality is on the agenda.

My plane tickets are booked and I will be there for the discussion.

I know Jake F is planning on attending as well Patrick. Is there a write in public comment section for the meeting agenda as well. I will not be able to attend and would like to submit commentary on this issue.

I will take a look at the ASMFC page.

They will not be seeking public comment yet since there is no action at this time. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't be writing to your state representative yet. Let them know now before the meeting so that maybe they will come out of the meeting with some form of action or plan.
