Watched "the American" last night

george clooney has been growing on me the last few years.
This is a mellow, mildly intriguing, spy-type thriller. Its not action packed or fast paced, reminds me of a european movie. I really liked it.

Sheri and I watched it about a month ago. We both thought it was going to have more action based on the previews we saw. I still liked the story and thought it was well acted. Being Italian I also liked the setting, and Viloante Placido is easy on the eyes. Sheri thought the movie was boring because of the slow pace.
