Planning for "prime time"
Anybody know of a resource that has moon phase, rise and set, sun rise and set data on the same calendar? Does the "fishers log" software provide this data?
I have been all over the web looking and all I can find is individual calendars. I'm trying to avoid having to compile it all from sites like the one posted below. Thanks! Moon Phase Calendar for Plymouth, Massachusetts |

If you are not a "high tech guy" like Nebe, Eldridge Pilot Book has all of that stuff every year. About $10 to $12.

BTW, I save all my old Eldridge Books and keep notes in them during the season. I can then go back and see exactly what tide, moon, where etc produced.

Let's see---sunrise and sunset, moonrise and moonset, moon phase, tides and current, current speed, and tidal range, all in one place? Seek and ye shall find:
Cape Cod Tides and Surf for Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket It's a Cape site, but pick any location on Cape Cod Bay and you're in the right ballpark for Plymouth. |

it is my opinion........
that fishing is best from new moon to the half moon then it changes from there on with fish seeking the shadow or finding food off the bottom to avoid the moon light i think it gives away their position and they loose their edge until the moon wanes back to the half moon again. you would too if you had no eyelids :uhuh: ....lucky for us we have sun or "moon glasses" |
