Does anyone have an opinion on this?

Great reel for the money. Casts extremely far and the handle is improved over the prev version

Plum Crazy 04-01-2011 05:21 AM

Thanks. I don't understand what this "line guard" is that is supposed to prevent snags behinf the spool. Is that something else to get caught on? I also hve never seen this "twistbuster" thing. What's up with that.
I like no fuss reels that I can fix myself.

It's a lot slower than the previous model Emblem Pro, if that's important to you.

I want one of these for this one beach where we shoot 1.5oz crocks way way out to bars and if the fish arent in the first bars, you have too shoot further to the next

nice price

throw on some 30# braid, maybe even 20#!!

If you can find the old style model that's the reel you want

I think you can find them cheaper than that too
