Thinner wire

I am looking for something smaller than the "normal" 0.062" dia. wire. Maybe around 0.031" dia. or so. Any known sources for a quantity less than a weld shop would require? Don't need pounds of the stuff, just a few feet or 20 12" pieces. Thinkin' of knocking off some thinner plugs, but through wired instead of screw eyes.

aircraft spruce supply carries 308L tig wire in .045 and ss safety wire in .041 .032 and .020

I'm thinking .031 is going to be softer than you expect.

Usually a welding place will sell u a couple of pieces. I would bet that someone went overboard on buying some though
