So I dropped off the boat to Voyager up in Essex with a couple friends tagging along with the intention of grabbing a beer and some fried clams at Woodmans. I asked Joe from Voyager for some input on local good eats.He says to try Causeway in Gloucester.It's a hole in the wall where you would never stop unless you were told to go there where you get three times the food for half the price.Two thumbs up for Causeway and don't forget it's byob!!!

Shoulda hit me up SD, right down the street from me. Causeway has probably the largest portions for the price that I've ever seen... and pretty good stuff!

Next time you're in town though, try the Clam Box. IMO best fried clams in the area.
