Weighting/Swimming, Waiting/Swimming, Weighting/Swimming, Finding Success

Built some nikies out of birch, because I wanted them to swim deeper. The larger Nikes I built were not as difficult as this 5.7" junior I turned. I weighted it three different ways and change the hook configuration once and found success in the lab at the end of my street. Nice little river with a large log laying across it that allows me to walk out almost to the middle and gingerly cast down stream and then retieve. Nieghbors think my tackle is a little large for whatever fish might be in the water, but hey, at least I am giving them something to think/yak about.
