Wetting a line tommorrow!!!

hey guys my dad and i are going over to a resevoir that we like to fish for trout in. Gunna be using the fly rod in hopes of a nice rainbow. i am excited as all heck to get my waders wet  . i was wondering for all you freshwater fly fisherman if i should use floating line with a wooly bugger tommorrow or the sinking line with a wooly bugger. I'll be fishing a semi deep hole with a sandy bottom.

thanks
anthony

Sounds good!

A wooley bugger sounds good . also you may want to try a gold rib hares ear. With the water being cold you may want to try a floating line with weighted flys & 10'-12' leaders since you are wading, . If the water is real deep you may want to go to a sink tip.
