Natural Needle, White needles , and 2 Canal Specials
3 Attachment(s)
I thought i was done but 2 weeks ago I was loading the wood bin at Sunapee and came across 3 nice dry yellow birch 5" diameter logs... I had to turn a few needles from these logs and put aside a bunch of blank stock for next winter... then I needed to make a couple of canal specials since i gave away 2 at plugfest...
I followed the KISS principle and painted everything pearl white with chin splash red except for one natural needle... this is the 1st time I tried the choopy shape for my needles... I have always been partial to the musso style... the fish will help me decide which i prefer for 1st light fishing in a few spots I fish... |

Nice work! They look great!

Nice work all tail weight? Nice job I was wondering about the flat sides in the front does it give a normally no action needle some attitude.

I rig them with a dressed siwash... they do have some undulating movement... the wt is actually just aft of the belly hook and then I back fill the hole with a dowel turned to fit the 1/4 hole... BT |
Thanks for the info again nice work.
