first cast today
 

went to worlds end today and threw a few casts in weir river for an hour or two, no luck though, bad tide timing too, but it felt good to just get out there

I also took my first cast (of the first rod I built) today. :D

Saw guys in boats havin' a good time with schoolies in Norwich Harbor but all I caught from the dock was a cold. :(

I also got out yesterday (freshwater)and it felt great...despite a broken reel and not even a fish to show for it!:rolleyes:

Hey Jenn,

I got out there this weekend, also fresh water. I caught one small rainbow and my buddy caught a decent size trout. It was slow though. Way too much water and too cold. Hopefully it will be better this weekend...
