Need a Good floor restoration guy
 

We are in the process of ripping up the rugs in our 110 year old antique farm house in marshfield. The floors upstairs are original and we would like to restore them. If anyone here wants to give me a quote to do the job that would be great or if you know someone I could contact let me know. The catch is that whoever potentially works on this project must be able to work with our grumpy and rude painter! You all know who he is! Great painter!

Call Brian Ayre from Hanson. 781 447 1900, he's been doing floors for years, highly recommend him.

2 month wait on the floors. Brian's a busy guy these days. Good for him. I'm going to have him look at it and give me a price. I can wait for quality. I have another guy coming in to look at them as well. I want to get 3 quotes for price and to get a sense of the person in general. I will pay more for someone who is worth it.

I know a few people in Marshfield that use Bob Brown (Bob Brown Hardwood Flooring 781-834-9356). and like his work. He is a local guy and lives down by Blackmount. I think he is more $$ than some of the cheaper "non English speaking competitors" but you might want to check him out too.

PS.After the floor has been sanded in many cases a good painter is the person who can give the stain/finish you might be looking for.Floor guys can be pretty generic when it comes to color and finish.

If you hire the Browns they will do a fine job finishing your floors.
