fishing line

Is it just me or did Andy's line change???? I've used Andy's pink for a while and no problems, but the spool I bought last year... No luck, too much memory.

I wonder if there is more memory on it since it has been sitting on the shelf for such a long time.

Just spolled a reel with ande pink that was from last year, no problems here. Where/how are you storing your line?

Here's an old trick I learned from the Squidster. After spooling your spinning reel, just before you hit the suds, take off the spool and soak it for a few minutes in the hottest tap water you have. You will have far less problems with memory... At least this has worked for me.
