21 Days for us here Mike... good tides start then..
of course if it blows E, I'll go back into hibernation for another week... |
My sources told me last night that there was a pulse of smalls that came in on the Moon Sunday. Apparently nothing over 19" but all covered with sea lice.

Boy the next month for me is going to be painful, back surgery rehab, can't so squat. I think about all I'll be able to do is maybe float the boat to get used to the new Garmin 740S and radar package, other than that I won't even be able to clear the harbor entrance in Westport. In a couple weeks, I might have to break down and bring a friend to do the heavy anchoring chores, bust out some green crabs and at least pretend I'm fishing. Years back I'd have been catching for a month now, but my holdover days have been put on hold too.

Good luck Bob!

Last year on May 7th, my first trip, I had 7 fish all around 15-18lbs. I know they weren't large, but it was a nice way to start the season. Across from your rock :devil2:

Making first canal run one week from today. I can feel it in my nuggets...11:20 east turn...:fishin:
Does this qualify as an advanced spot burn or do I need to reveal exactly which pole I'll be standing next to???? Is there a such thing as advanced spot burning? Could this post qualify as a new category of spot burn or does a report need to be posted after catching something to qualify as a burn??? |

PM me the pole numbers so I can make that determination of sportburning or not for you. I may need to complete additional research to confirm spot info against your logbook too - so be a peach and send that as well. |

Actually I'm easy to find seeing I don't own one of those nerdy canal bikes...
