So my wife is lecturing me/us about our overspending money after the cruise
 

And I am not feeling too bad about going on the cruise. It is the first vacation together, by ourselves since 1995(Estes Park, Co.), and I really friekin enjoyed it. Caribbean coolers all around everyone. Anyway, she is going off, being a hypocrite really, about how we need to trim spending, which is true, and what we need to do over the next several months, to be in a better position.

I am standing in the family room looking out at the neighborhood, going ya ya ya honey, anything you say, when the god damn UPS guy shows up with my Waldsports front handlebar large basket, for the canal cruiser. So I interupt my sweetie, and I say, "before the UPS guy knocks at the door with my new basket remember I ordered it before the current austerity program went into effect." The look on her face was worth ordering he basket, installed today, it was priceless. She wasn't peeved to long though. Didin't even mention it today. Kind of funny though how the UPS guy arrives just as she is reaching the high point of her chat with me.

If you want to borrow my shooting ear plugs, they cut out when the shrill gets too high

Im going on a cruise saturday and have hearing for 2 months "we really shouldnt be going on this cruise". Well to Effin Late!

Just mention that you saw an ad for her favorite shoe store having a big sale and see if her eyes light up!
If so, there's you're leverage!

We just went on the Caribbean Princess. Grand Caiman, Roaton, Honduras, COZUMEL (awesome), Princess Cay (Jamaica). Trip was awesome. Food was overwhelming. Had to stop myself after three days of trying everything.
