Fishing Tournament
 

Hi Guys. If anyone is around Cape Cod the weekend of June 11th the Raw Bar in Mashpee along with the Mashpee Yacht Club are running their 4th Bass & Blues fishing tournament. Applications can be downloaded from the Raw Bar web site. It's a fun time with prizes and gifts for all entered boats. In the past the Capts meeting is the Friday night before and there is a buffet after weigh in on Saturday.

Seeing that no one ASKED if it is OK to post this - any member here can vouch for this tourney?

I know it was a joke. I can't vouch for it, never heard of it. Evidently they've had 4?

Just what I found on google

compared to the cobia tournament last weekend that's cheap

1500 per boat!!

92 lb cobia - 15,000 +

It's always been a small tournament 15 boats or so, with only advertisement at local bait shops and marinas. (Falmouth & Mashpee area). I guess if someone never heard of it plunking down $300 may be a reach. Never thought of vouching for it, we're just regular guys (& gals) who enjoy fishing and a good time and I was putting it out there for other folks who may be interested. We're trying to make it bigger and better and this was one way. Did not realize I needed to ask to post it. It's on several other sites with no issues. Moderator, please remove it if inapppropate.
