Love asparagus, it's a great dietriect, not sure if that's spelled right.
Helps flush your body out, makes your pee smell though! Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
That is some fine looking asparagus! I would drop it in some boiling water for about 2-3 minutes and then into an ice bath. Then I would roll them in some nice olive oil and sprinkle on some Montreal steak seasoning and then on a nice hot grill. Make some nice grill marks on two sides and it is awesome!

Chop to 2 to 3 inch pieces , 2 to 3 minute blanch in boiling water then into a fry pan with olive oil, garlic, big shrimp and sea salt then pour whole thing over thin pasta.
|
Wrap a piece or 2 of prosciutto around each 1 and secure with a toothpick, lightly drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, grill until the prosciutto just starts to get crispy.
Bring this as an appetizer to your next cook out and you are a guaranteed hero. |
