That saw uses 59 1/2 " long blades. Have a few made up custon using 18 Teeth per inch. If your building plugs you will thank me. 1/4 inch wide blade stock.

Didn't you post something on setting up a bandsaw 7 years ago. I swear I read something on setting up the saw that made it cut perfectly. Something to look into Chris.

I bought the same saw 2 years ago from someone on the board. I cannot remember who but I love the saw for making the slope head on surfters.

Interested in the sharpening kit. I have trouble sharpening my gouge I use for turning. It's a Sheffield made in the UK and cost me $100 so it's not the tool it's the operator:rotf2:

chefchris401 11-23-2012 11:06 AM

If you want it maybe Andy can grab that too, ill meet up with Andy and grab the saw and kit, then ill meet up with you.

I just tossed the basement looking for it....if I find it I'll pm you. It's nothing special just a stone with a guide.

I seem to remember a thread from back then. Someone was having trouble making a straight cut with his band saw. I posted my 2 cents worth along with a bunch of other guys.

Slingah 11-26-2012 10:18 AM

Andy I'll get in touch this week. It was a hectic weekend.
