Got rid of something that was making my hard drive tic , tic , tic
 

I got something that was causing my hard drive to just let out a tic , every 5 seconds or so. Not thrashing , just a single tic.....tic.....tic. was driving me crazy. mcAfee showed nothing but Dr web found something from a Java file that it said was proibably a script virus? Anyway , I dleted that and then I did a sweep using a boot disc and now the tic , tic is gone. I'll swear a lot of the java updates or the auto update program itself is dirty.

Oh well , we need to be ever vigilant.

When a disk makes weird noises be sure to back up. Can be early signs of failure...been there.

Nope whole new hardware setup. Was definitely some kind of Possession needing exorcism. :)

Strange......seems like that's what i've been saying now and then

updates can screw up your PC (sometimes) :uhuh:
