"Stacked up like Cordwood" waiting to come thru the canal

I heard this 3 times today in different locations around the Canal... word is that a lot of fish are in eastern end of Buzz bay just waiting for the temps to go up a few degrees...

Nowhere Ive been, thats for damn sure. I've been hitting that area for two weeks now with nothing to show for it. It couldn't be me....could it?

blondterror 05-09-2011 05:03 PM

Everyone is chomping at the bit to start catching fish so stories like this get started...and passed on ...

DanSmithCFI 05-09-2011 05:37 PM

Once they're in the ditch they have to get past the seals though... I lost a schoolie to 1 of the 4 seals hanging around the herring run friday night.

yeah wish we could have reported otherwise, but it was pretty dead out there, except for the jellies!

Three reports? Probably started by three B&T shops looking for early business.
