I will check the just received Little League schedule when I get home and reply or PM by the end of the weekend. Gotta do a little reworking schedule with ex-wife and the kids. If not good, would rather have someone be able to plan on it with some advanced notice. Thanks for the heads up. I know you weren't questioning my devotion;) ;)

Will you be at the NorthEast Tournament in Crisfield MD on the 26 and 27 ? if so I will talk with you there if you dont want to make the trip north. From what Charlie P has told me about your back casting I think I will be able to help you. Big Dave

Got that day off and very much looking forward to learning as much as I can. I can't even imagine casting all that way across the Ditch. :eek: But would love to learn the skills to at least give it a good try. I see lots of casting practice in my future..:D

big dave, i think very highly of charlie's opinion and charlie thinks very highly your opinion. so needless to say i am looking forward to your critic. i also need help with reel tuning.
you can tell from the big numbers at the southest regionals that things are getting rather competitive.

slip, PM me directions from the highway (195). yes i will be coming from maryland and spending the weekend on the cape. i plan to do some fishing in the new england area this season. the guys on this board seem like they know what they are talking about.
yeah i am a dedicated backcaster. it is the only way i can get good distance.

I have PMd Slip and called JohnR to regret my spot in the May3rd clinic. Little League and kids, what can I say? Kids still come before fishing.

I have to say that those who attend will get better. I went to the first one. I just got back from a practice session, and what a difference it has made. More distance, and no backlashes this time out. I got rid of the mono, and put some braid on. Thanks Dave you sure are a great teacher. :happy:

If there is a opening I would like to attend.

I'm going to need directions as well. Gotta finish wrapping the rod this weekend. I'm looking forward to this.

I called two shops on the cape yesterday and they were all out of the smoothie drag...ummmmmmmmm somethin' fishy is goin' on at these clinics. :-)

I checked em' out he didn't have em'. What a great shop...wish I discovered it sooner.

At this point I think I am going to fish it with the stock drag. I would actually love it if the thing just exploded in my hand...what a story that would be, well only if i managed to catch the fish I guess.

Unfortunately my step-father passed away early this a.m. He's battled diabetes for well over fifty years and I think it finally got the best of him.

The services will be this saturday. I guess that opens up a spot for someone.

Keep my name on any other list and don't be afraid to rip a good cast for me.
