They look nice Christian. That is a good idea using mahogany for the darter, I bet it holds up well too.

thanks,
only problem i have with mahogany are those little pitts and things that look like worm holes in it. know what i mean?
got a maple darter ready for the spinner tommorow. the pick a number popper on the main board was my build too, that was maple.maple turns nice.
probally do some testing/schoolie fishing tommorow

heres a pic of the maple darter, its got a pretty steep face to it, compared to the other one and i put the swivel a little bit to the back.

Nice work Christian. Someone gave me some mahogany, I have not turned it yet. I guess I will try it out.

Hey guys, I've worked with Mahagony a few times, great stuff tough as nails. To get rid of those small holes you were talking about: prime with Kilnz than rub a small amount of wood filler over entire body to fill it, than sand and prime again. After you sand the next time. it can be smoothed out like glass.
