Very popular in my house. saw him for the first time last year w/ the cardinals and it was great.

Haven't listened much, just enough to know I would like them... I have seen former Cardinal hottie bass player Catherine Popper a couple times with her current band, GPN...:love:

Their 2005-2007 live stuff is real edgy and has a lot of raw energy. Later stuff is still very good but has much more refined sound. Great band and definitlely one of my favorites. Saw them last year at the Orpheum and they rocked.
Archive has a lot of great shows and you could spend days on there sifting through the great recordings.

Ryan is back and coming to Boston soon...
 

Just announced release of new album on 10/11.

Also, tickets go on sale tomorrow for 12/8 show at the Orpheum. Looks like he's touring w/o the Cardinals and doing a solo acoustic/piano tour. Should be great.
