GPS receiver WTB
 

My Lowrance LMS-525C combo FF and GPS unit has crashed. The GPS receiver is dead. Receiver (antenna) model LGC-3000. Anyone got a working one they want to get rid of?

Macojoe has a Standard Horizon CP180 color unit (I think that's the model) with the MA/Cape Cod CMap chart chip. I think he's selling it. You may want to PM him.

Same thing happened to me over the weekend with my Garmin 2010C, I just ordered a new antenna on Saturday, hopefully it'll be here before next weekend.

Called Lowrance customer service- good experience- on hold for about a minute. They confirmed that the problem is the antenna. It is no longer under warrantee but they will replace with next generation model for $99. It retails for over $200. Sounds like a pretty good deal. Excellent customer service.
