lake Champlain, VT

I know this is about salt water but.....I live on the lake in Burlington and it's pretty amazing to see the damage from our flooding. The lake is at an all time record high. Crushed the old 160 year record by more than a foot. Lost about 10 feet of my yard to erosion and a month later it's STILL underwater. Currently at 102.8 feet. 100 is flood level. Many houses and camps have been standing is several feet of water for over a month. And when the wind kicks up and tosses the logs around they are getting terrible damage. windows , porches and doors torn out.70 year old trees are falling in. Bike path collapsed in places. Memorial day is usually filled with boats....I saw maybe 3. Sad.
