Fishing Cape Ann
 

Fishing the Cape Ann area has been Great! There are a lot of small macks in the harbor and seems to be an abundance of keeper bass. I actually was bored catching them, no challenge, as soon as the baits hit the water the bass would whack um. The 13 caught fish were over 30 and under 36 inches, kept one to give to a friend.

Flounder fishing has also been solid over the past few weeks. Picked up a keeper bass on a weak-assed flounder rig. Still don't know how that hook didn't straighten.

Got a few nice bass using fresh dead macs twitched in the B-canal last night. The heavy winds pushed the feed up tight this afternoon and I watched some large fish rolling in the rough low water. Hope the macs and bass agree to co-exist for at least a few weeks.
