the things are a pain and the enclosed tube makes storage an easy option

I really like the concept but I've never used one. I'm a little apprehensive because of the loss of sensitivity. I always had a dedicated bait rod and just clipped it to the bottom guide and :fury: :fury: when it snagged into the car upholstery or my leg. I haven't used one since I lived in FL but I saw a few guys doing it the other day and they were the only ones catching (nice)bass. I'll have to leave my Portuguese buddy at home..he'd probably cry watching me live line a nice mack :biglaugh:
