Help with Vintage spinning reel choice
 

sorry and thanks for the PM about posting this in the wrong forum. because I'm not part of the click here I'll post it in a totally different surf forum and I'm sorry to whoever was bothered enough they had to complain about a simple question on a vintage reel opinion.

its cool, after giving it some thought I think I know or met the guy... I was in his "tiny" shop the other day asking the same questions.. I think the mention in my post of the rod builder in MD refinishing the rod set him off but thats what happens when you tell a customer "I wouldn't waste my time with this" when what he really meant was "this is way too much for someone with my limited experience"
