Wednesday Crew

Got an opening for ONE tomorrow (that's the 29th, Tysdad :)). Leaving out of Fairhaven (near the VFW for TFCTFN) and doing Buzz Bay, maybe over to the Elizabeth Is. We'll be running/gunning the bluefish blitzs trying to see if anything under them.

BlondTerrorist is also coming. PM me ASAP for details.

Won't get many responses if you're trying to get on the backside of anything.

We'll your/their choice: either you can go or not?

Can't always fish the weather so you can either be out boating hoping to catch fish or home dreaming about the fish you might/could have caught.:smash:

Really fun day! Lots of blues (31" 10+ lbs biggest), scup, black sea bass, and 1 schoolie striper. No fluke as drift hauling ass, even a 12oz sinker wouldn't hold bottom.

Also jigged up a squid and snagged a BT!

Hope Blond terrorist won the pool for biggest fish of the day:rotf2::rotf2::rotf2:

Hope your feeling better Chris! Get better quick!!!!

Phil got the biggest fish with that 31' blue but I caught the only striper and the only leg... had a ER guy at NW Hospital take it out ... i was in and out of the ER in 45 minutes which i thought was excellent... even helped me avoid the worst of 128 traffic.

Great day on the water my first experience catching both Black bass and Scup... I was amazed at how hard scup fight for their size! Also fun to fish the other "Hole" for the first time

striperman36 06-29-2011 09:58 PM

A boated schoolie flapped on the deck when it shouldn't have!

blondterror 06-30-2011 06:54 AM

I was removing the belly hook and suddenly he tail slapped me and presto the sharp 2/0 VMC was ALL the way in my shin... happened in a flash... Buzz removed the fish and plug quickly and then we unfortunately were done fishing (about 2pm) we really wanted to get a keeper sized striper from the mini blitz we were targeting but next time...

Yeeks,

I remember Al Anderson's favorite story of fishing with 2 trebles in his chest after he fell on the fish.

That's a painful spot to get it, I can't believe you drove from NB to Buzz's and then to NW hosp.

I've done the reverse with a broken collarbone, different story.
