Where???

luds 07-15-2011 09:05 AM

Devereaux lot would be a great choice. You could launch your yaks there and do some night yakkin. Surf guys could fish all over the neck. Little less far north than PI too. I'm in if it's in Marblehead.

BBQ is at the parking lot by the Plum Island Bridge, then people break off and go fishing in different locations.

Let me know.....

food for thought...

because of the timeing of the full/new moons( and I much rather fish the full), I personal feeling is you might do better on the new moon... the pattern this season has been two weeks behind, consistant with an early month full moon.. I'm seeing fish now, that should have been here late June... the previous months were the same.... by mid to late August, the fish begin to stage, here around PI.., with a full moon in the middle of the month, I feel it may still be in in the doldrums stage...there will still be fish around, there always are , but you are going to have to work real hard for them... the late month new might just be the ticket to a more sucessfull outing...

Best to schedule the BS fests when the fishing is slow. Slow fishing is alot more fun with good company.

I will try and make it again, especially if Joe will take me fishing again:hee:, pretty please:heybaby:,Had a ton of fun last time.

Your welcome anytime... but you may rethink it after talking to Bruce... I dragged him all the way up here for what I thougt was going to be a sure thing after last weeks results... we covered alot of water for a few measly fish...

If my cape house isn't open then I may join this cast of characters for a good time.

Lurking :lurk:

spinncognito 07-29-2011 04:51 PM

I have the date saved. As long as some unforseen aspect of life does not get in the way, I will be there. Hopefully no tropical storms will interfere and the fish will cooperate.

We have tallked about a distance casting contest but have never done it. That parking lot is long enoug as long as Arra doesn't attend... Someone bring a tire and we could do an accuracy test too....

Realistic. If wife is working I'll stop by with kid. If not I'll probably be playing good husband by day so I can get out that night.
