Best Lip for Atom 54
 

Saw that Don from AH is now making some sweet limited release A54s... I want to make a few... maybe 1 or 2 as an eelskin plug.

Which lip is best for the A54?

An A40 looks too big to my eye...

Salty atom jr lip. 54B has no belly weight. approx 10-11 gram tailweight( cut a 7 gr.weight in half works). drill almost to rear belly hook. Plug is 5 1/2" in length. Widest diameter 1 3/32-1 1/8". Leave 3/16" space between back of lip to plug nose. This where I also tie skin. If you need other specs let me know. This plug is a great diver. bend lip up slightly from stock bend. skins are king on this profile.

Thanks guys... I will post some pics... paint is taking a long time to dry in this weather... using Rusto blue paint to match the inside color of eel skin.

Yes that is the O.E. lip. either swims fine.
