Shimano Voltaeus rods?

Anyone have any experience with them? I just ordered one fro BPS, had to use up my rewards for being such a liberal spender with my credit card lately. Looks like a good general duty boat rod.

I have the 7' 12-30# and like it. Seems like it could handle more. Great for the price. It's fairly light in the tip but nice and stout in the middle.

Glad it got a favorable review. I was using a star nicelite 7' the other day and it was really light. The guy i was with suggested i use it over the cod rod that i brought out on the boat. We were live lining and my rod was too stiff to feel what was going on, i was sceptical about the star because it was such a light rod but it spanked a 44 lber in about 5 minutes.

I actually have a 7' 15-30 Nicklelite too. Probably my all time favorite 7' and under rod. Super light and sensitive. I use it for tog and bass.. Also great for throwing sluggos around docks and tight quarters. Too bad they discontinued them :( TD had a big sale on them a while back for about 60% off.
