My time of day

While trolling up some macks yesterday, I pulled out the camera for the first time.... too good not to record for my failing memory bank, and those long winter months. Nothing better than being out on the water for sunrise IMO.....

nice pics ross, sunrise is the bestest :).

Nice Ross. I printed one and hung it on my cork board in the office. I will look a that pic right after snowblowing 2 feet next Jan.

I agree, very calming watching sunrise. Never get tired of watching it.

I was trying to shoot a frame every five seconds...but the sabiki got hit twice while it came up, and it comes fast! Might try a video next time. Don't know why but I must have a shot a hundred sunrises. Each one is unique to me as it is happening. Just not the same as a sunset, although some are nice too. I have a spectacular one I took at Edgartown Light with Surfpirate three Derbys ago. I should try to market that one somehow...:smash: (might pay for another Derby trip....)

No derby this year for me. First time in twenty years. Awesomne pics Ross.

another morning on the water

Great pics! You are right about every sunrise being unique. They're all very different. A few issues ago, I think Charlie Soares wrote an article for OTW and in it he mentioned how some adults have never seen a sunrise, and thats too bad! Its just amazing. Crisp air, a hot cup of coffee and the sunrise. Nothing like it.
