Beachmasters

Can someone give me the 411 on Beachmasters. Who makes them, what kinda wood, where they're from, when did they stop, which ones work well, and so on. I found a guy with a large stash of brand new ones and wanted to buy them all, but he wasnt no fool they weren't cheap.

Made on Long Island, Limited production runs . Mostly made of pine, some maple. IMHO the best Wood plugs produced today. I like their darters and metal lips but all have there moments. Retail between $15-$20. Still in business

Beachmasters have a great movement in the water, I also think they're one of the best plugs out there. Bob had worked with Danny Pichney of Lupo Lures previously before he passed, and now works with a partner out of his garage.

I found a guy with a couple of beachmasters at a flea market.
I did not know what they were. When I started going through the tub they were in, people started going nuts and grabbed
them up. I picked up one (brand new) no hooks for $15.
It has nice action.
:D
