ct fluke?

So....i have a family reunion sat in madison ct, so being i havnt been out in a few weeks im gonna take the boat and fish sunday, i'd really like to get into some fluke since they are rare on the MA north shore where i usually fish, Any recomendation and where to head? I'll be launching at ct river/old saybrook. Not looking for anyones honey holes just a general idea never fished this area before.....Thanks

I fish further east but long sand shoal right outside of the CT river is always mentioned in the fishing reports, might be a good place to start looking.
