Of course it matters! You need the Deep Force jigs from Point Jude!
They catch anything that swims near them. Stripers,cod, halibut,blues,AJ's ,african popano. big eye tuna ,yellowfin tuna, bluefin tuna,cubera snappers.....and the list goes on. They work everywhere on everything!

Here are some examples in our waters.

I've had a lot of luck this season with a Daiwa sacrifice lightning jig. The pearl color. I've only targeted stripers with them and pulled some nice fish from below the surface bite. They actually look a lot like those Point Jude jigs posted above and I think you can save a few bucks with those. Either way I enjoy fishing them and have had some success. Just my 2 cents
