Thinking of Shore Guiding, or have Frequent Fishing Guests?

When I guided, I bought waders in all sizes to outfit the customers. They are all breathable, boot-foot and new or very lightly used. Great if you are thinking about starting a shore guiding business or have a beach house where you have guests who like to try fishing when they visit.
I have 4 pairs.
Here's the deal: I'm not breaking up the set, its all or none.
No "dibs" first to pay, gets them
I have a business, so I take credit card phone orders, or you can come over with cash

Here is the breakdown of what I have:
Hodgman Wadelight Boot Foot 1 pair size 11 slightly used
Hodgman Wadelight Boot Foot 1 pair size 11 new
Hodgman Wadelight Boot Foot 1 pair size 12 new
Orvis Silver Label Size 9 Studded Felts very slightly used (worn 1 or 2 times)
Price = $199

If you want them shipped, I can do that, but I'll need a CC. You will pay just what it costs to ship them, no more.
Phone Orders Call 401.427.0537
PayPal Account Email: joe@fishhardlivelong.com
If you choose PayPal and want them shipped, I'll send an invoice for shipping charges.

Ya ever think of guiding again? There seems to be a serious lack of surf guides. I dont know of one in RI. Seems like a niche that needs to be filled. Maybe one of the guys on the site will start one.

It's more for a guy who is out every night anyway and has a pulse on the fish. I'm not out enough so I don't have enough knowledge as to what is happening right now, to do justice to the client.

Who wants to bring random people to producing spots? Not me.

I'm pretty sure Jack from QL will do it. I know he use too at least.

Most of the people were from way out of town. Like NY and NJ, where people have jobs. That, and there's far more spots than will ever be fished if you're ok with walking a mile.

I would, if they payed you lots of money :uhuh: and went after dark, and I lived on block island or cutty:jump1: (keep dreamingggggg) My rediculous prices would keep out all the good fisherman away, and all I'd have to deal with would be green, easily impressible dorks from manhattan and the like who wouldnt even enjoy the experience. Kinda like my last job as an assistant pro at a private golf club lol

The nicest people I've met, I met through guiding. It's the people that want everything for free, they're the ass_oles who have to watch out for in the world.

meaning no offense, thats partially the up side to the idea, and one instilled in private clubs, keep all the riff raff out with the high costs

Works well in Newport. Take note: Just the few bucks it costs to cross the bridge creates an upscale social dynamic far above every other RI town. My father-in-law refused to pay a bridge toll so he never went - he was real cheap ass.

Hi Joe,

Left a mesage at your home that I'd take these four pairs of waders for $125 plus shipping. Heading to Montauk for two months at the end of next week. Need them shipped to Vermont so I can take them with me and use for visitors. Please call me (802-375-2860) so I can give you my credit card number. Thanks.
