Bass may be tough, but there were lots of bluefish on the BB side of Quicks today. Didn't see any albies, but they are due any day now.
For bass I'd try Woods Hole/Robinsons/ Quicks as early as you can get there. White danny's, pencils, or spooks.

And be careful - LOTS of debris in the water.

I was at the end of my street yesterday and could see two decent size logs floating in the water so I don't imagine it is much different there.

little beach bones......

took a walk down little beach today, saw 2 silvery torpedo's come out of the water toward skunk rock.

BB and VS are murky, weedy and with lots of junk floating around. I was on the Fast Ferry to NB and they sucked up something in the port engine. The ferry was vibrating and they stopped the boat and back-up hard and got whatever was in there out as we carried on without further adieu.

keep an eye out

i took a swim, and was amazed how much the water had cleared up.
the blue color is returning to BB.
it was pretty warm, too !!

Whaaat? You're back on the water already? I wanna see a picture of your peg leg...probably made it yourself out of some extra basswood...hopefully you sealed it properly.

Looks like I may have some new tree trunks to sit on and rest my bones at the Lumber Yard the SW corner of Block this November. Probably originating from the Connecticut, Hudson, and Thames Rivers. Wouldn't want to hit one of them in a boat!
