Any tips for fishing Popponesset Beach during the day?
 

Hi Everyone. I am headed to Popponesset Beach tomorrow with some friends to do some fishing. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for the area? Any suggestions on what kind of bait to use?

Ive never fished that beach but have fished close by. Chunk pogie has caught many blues, squid will probably get ya some scup. Bring a popper in case the blues show up.

Not so sure they'll let you.
