Where is the URI Rugby pitch
 

Heading to RI this wknd to watch my kid play. Can't find directions. I assume its at the Kingston campus.
Of course I will have to fish as long as I am there anyways:uhuh:

do you need directions to URI? 95 south to Rt 4 split.. take rt 4 until it turns into rt1. Go past newport exit. Take a right on 138. at 3rd traffic light take a right....(URI's main entrance is 2nd light) The 3rd right is lower college road.. that drives through all of the playing fields.

I think that's what I needed, UVM's is in a different part of campus than the rest of the athletic fields.

I played at URI from 1981-1983. What a great time. There was just a reunion last week of the 86 New England Championship team. I hope your kid is loving it.

If you come in Nebe's way, go past lower college road to the bottom of the hill, the entrance to the Keaney gym parkinig lot will be on the right, the fields are behind that and the field house (unless they play on the football field which is in the stadium)

I think I found it on Bing maps in left outfield of the baseball field. My guess is I'll be coming from Burlingame up one of those roads to 138 and then east on 138.
