That is pretty scary, the taxpayers have to support 80K illegal alien kids in the school and healthcare systems? Why don't they send the kids home with their parents?

A lot of those kids were probably born here and are US citizens...if they don't want to be deported they would likely go into the foster care system.

Probably part of the reason that so few of them are being sent back....they use their kids as "anchors" to keep their foothold in this country.

I would love to hear what other countries do regarding immigration issues where the illegal immigrant has started to "reproduce"???

Keep this in mind when you have to wait in line for ANY of the basic social services that you have paid for over the years, and the immigrants are "entitled to" for just being from south of the border!

I loved the news story this past week regarding the woman who had adopted a child thru the state adoption program. This program GUARANTEED that the child would be entitled to free college tuition at any state college. Then see that the state isn't funding that program!
Now the state wants to develop and fund a program giving illegal immigrant's children free tuition?
I loved seeing Deval Patrick try and avoid the question by throwing one of his worn-out replies of "We've already adressed that issue!"
Bull, the only thing he addressed was the people who's votes he's trying to buy!

This is a serious issue Spence ol boy. Part of why the system is flawed. Spinit however you may but these kids should not be separated from their parents #1, If the parent is here illegally then they get deported and the kid goes with them. It's the PARENTS CHOICE to have the kid here when they already know they're here illegally.

It's EPIC because someone would setup a hotline for this. INS already does this for a free call. They'll even come pick you up and give you a ride to the airport :smash:

This isn't spin, it's the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution. Are you suggesting we remove that clause? Some people want to.

Well, it's set up by a volunteer group that help illegal immigrants. Some people just don't like to see suffering for whatever reason.

Maybe John should move this to the political forum and we can debate how many millions or billions of dollars we're wasting on this bull#^&#^&#^&#^& because (as your quote shows above) these chicks can't keep their legs crossed while they live off the state/feds and have 1.6 kids apiece while any money they earn goes back to Brazil or Ecuador or wherever they came from.

Actually, I believe illegals make up like 5% of the US economy and pay a heck of a lot of taxes. There's also a good number of studies which would indicate a net gain to the economy because of illegal workers.

Doesn't make it right, but it's something to consider in the debate.

they pay a #^&#^&#^&#^&load of taxes because business that illegals wort at will take their deductions out of their paychecks... but when its time to file your taxes and ask for it back, the illegals don't usually do it. Free money for the Gubmint
