WTF, since when has it been possible for OnDemand to disable FF through commercials when watching TV shows!:wall:

atrocious:confused:

you could do it yesterday, ff thru the commercials on breaking bad. may be tied into the tv station contract with the cable provider though. makes sense from the tv exec point of view

There's your issue. I'm not getting any of that stuff with my ondemand stuff through Verizon. The day Fios became available, I jumped ship from Comcast.

It is in the agreement that advertisers put in with a shows producers, when a show is going to on demand. They payed for the time and they want their monies worth. Not all shows have the same agreement though.

most shows on cox have been like that for a while.
luckily they don't go crazy with comercials, maybe 30 or 60 seconds, not 3 mins.

i still always find myself reaching to fast forward.

this is why i dvr all of my favorite show instead of rely on on-demand to watch them.

I've gone to the DVR route mostly. Watching a 60 min show in 40 min without comm's is great!
