Ty's dad
Not one but TWO chafed wires to the frame near the left front of the engine/radiator support. Both off the 3.5v line, one wire was to abs the other to the am/fm, this shows why the radio would shut off and the abs light come on...they might have finally fixed it. Effin wires so small there's no way even I would have found them even looking for them. You almost needed a magnifying glass.... Move the harness and it would probably fix it til it corroded out completely.
probably what blew the gold plated sensor if it's even bad....that ran off this line too.... still no reimbursement for the $902 now GM is fighting with the dealer whose going to give me my money back. :smash: left me on the side of the road for the umpteenth time in that rain yesterday am... this time the engine didn't want to run. |
So it wasn't Obama's Fault after all.......hmmm.......interesting

Chipmunk REVENGE!:rotf2:

probably was the damn chipmunks too. I saw another yesterday. It appears my campaign is starting to work. Got a new leaf blower a few weeks ago and it's wicked powerful so I spent a day last week blowing crud back into the woods. Amazing how many burrows I found.
I hope this thing is finally fixed. So many dtc codes for phantom things in the last 5 years. always at the worst time. Sometimes they'd reset and never store anything. |
At least they finally found something. If those wires were grounding it will pull down the communications line in the truck. Hopefully its good for you now.
