Oh stop already. Anyone who knows anything about that knows that he wasn't the reason for that grounding.

This NZ incident could be allot worse, at least it is not a tanker. Still 1000 tons of heavy fuel onboard which in the big picture is only about 312,000 gallons.....no too bad considering what it could be.

I was responding to those charging the captain before the invetigation was complete.

I watched contractors muck a lot of oil in Alaska...I'm well aware of what happened.

The bigger issue is the hazmat inside those containers (although I saw relatively few placards). Some of that stuff can do things that make oil look easy to deal with.
