Couldn't figure out what I was getting hung up on at East Beach...now I know. Wondered where the plover fences went this year.

Ouch - did you at least get some other lures?

Now I know how to collect lures.:)

I did got my new afterhours plug back after a swim. It pisses me off that the DEM didn't take the fence down before Irene...now there is miles off that crap in the surf.

Pollution is ok as long as it is in defense of the beloved plovers.

Rope is the worst! You pull and pull and it moves some so you keep pulling instead of deliberately breaking off cause it seems like you are making progress. But the more rope you pull , the harder it gets as the length you are pulling increases. In the Ditch the pull of the current also gets stronger the more rope you are pulling. You can't ease up even for a second or you'll lose what you gained. Then after all that expended energy , suddenly I will not budge another inch. :wall:
