opinions on c-hawk boats?

I like simple, beamy center consoles that are built to be abused. Looks like soneone bought the C-Hawk molds, and I like the looks of this 25 footer. Any opinions?

Never heard a bad thing about them

I friend of mine had the Lobster Boat style in a 22'. It had a 150 4 stroke. The engine was too heavy for the boat and the scuppers were under water which was surprising . Other than that, it was solid.

Had the 22 WA with a 150 2 stroke suzuki. We always had 2" of water in the boat thru the scuppers.
IMO they are a POS

They are a solid built boat. We have lots of them down here and I fished a 98 25-footer. The deadrise on that boat looks like it is in the 20 degree range. The smaller boats had less deadrise (the 22 only had 14 degrees) so they were a rough ride in bay conditions with stiff wave faces.

Good to know Mike. I thought it just wasn't built for a 4 stroke.
