I blew out my Chota's ..
side of the boot separated from the soul .. Can some one recommend a good surf boot for stocking foot waders .. had simms and chota..
thanks in advance |
Love my bean's.
Great boots and an awesome warranty and good price. |
I've switched to the cabelas ultra lights, 50 bucks and a great warranty.
Comfy, great ankle support and pretty light for a good solid boot. Im lucky if I get more than one season out of my boots (April to December) so spending more than 100 bucks seems pointless. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
I think I've had the chota's 3 yrs. ,,, I wear them down the canal too with cabela's breathable stocking foot hip boots.. So I got a lot of use out of them .. seeing what else is out there .
|
I also like the Cabela's ultralights.
|
I bought some Korkers towards the end of the season. The boots I was using looked like Slipknot's last canal bike. About the same age. No complaints yet.

been useing the cabella ultra lights also. for the price they can't be beat. and i'm hard on shoes.

Comfy, great ankle support and pretty light for a good solid boot. X2 - Cab's are awesome. Read the thread on here about adding the Wearbars using washers. |
I love my Cabelas lights. Put wearbar studs on them sweet.
|
x 2 for the bean wader boots... I like the gripping of the boot bottom as well and they work well with my lace on korkers

Beans, and if like me you find it hard to get your foot in the stoking foot try bare feet and cut some nylons to wear like socks. My feet slip right in no problem. I also put a nylon over the stocking foot which makes getting my foot in the boot much easier and more comfortable.

x3 - for the price get 2 pair, one for rocks with wearbars and one for everywhere else. |

Beans boots 5 years and going have excellent ankle support and protection. The ultras not as good, thin stretch soft material around angle lacks those features.
The features going for it are price, weight, warranty and pods for studs Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
What is the warranty policy on the Cabela's Ultra Lites?
Just checked--lifetime for normal wear--whatever that means. Anybody return a pair of these?? |
