I'd rather hang out with this Jersey Shore mess:

than spend 5 minutes in that Jersey Shore mess.

I agree, even going to the dentist would be higher on my list.

Does everyone in Joisey fish a van staal? What a cluster, I assume there were no personality clashes ,or casting over others into a blitz?

MAKAI 11-28-2011 09:42 AM

Rather prep for a colonoscopy than ever sit in that.

Reminds me of the canal after an internet report.

numbskull 11-28-2011 11:36 AM

Wow! No wonder NIB took up golf.

GattaFish 11-28-2011 11:47 AM

Common sense tells me since no one is hooked up then it might not really be worth watching.......

I will stick to my long swims and lonely nights... Thanks,,,

timmah 11-28-2011 12:31 PM

I would love to run down in Hawaiian Shorts and flip flops and yell "anybody get any Keeepazz!!"

Tagger 11-28-2011 03:23 PM

all daytime fishers ? ... fishing in Hell must be like that .

Swimmer 11-28-2011 04:42 PM

I thought an ablie blitz on the Chappy side of Edgartown harbor was bad.

EXACTLY George!
that is why he now would rather take his chances getting beaned in the head with a golf ball , than getting knocked in the head with someones' pencil popper on a jetty, which did happen years ago. He won't even come up here to fish the canal now.

I can't seem to understand how anyone can even fish like that??? crazy

Striperknight 11-28-2011 05:22 PM

It was insane for miles.

Joe 11-28-2011 05:33 PM

I heard some tackle shop owners down there are like real business people.
It's a little deceiving. It looks like they used a telephoto lens which compresses the background and foreground together, and it makes the subjects look closer together than they really are.
It's still a massive crowd, but there's more distance between the subjects than it appears, depending on the focal length of the lens.

Looks like the Canal after a report online.

ivanputski 11-28-2011 06:14 PM

worse than trout opening day

Now here is the crowd I was fishing with,in an undisclosed area. May not look it but that surf is loaded with 15-25# bass and had been for the last 7 days.

NJ Shore is where I started. I still have a disadvantaged brother down there. NO WAY (so far) has the Canal, even at its worst, come close to the NJS re crowds. Both of these geographies, however, suffer from their open territories and therefore are vulnerable to binocular fishing and telephone fishing.

Ah, so that is why you outfish everyone up there! :)

Swimmer 11-29-2011 12:47 PM

Someone should have hired, the pig that Snooki is, to chase everyone away.

She gets $18,000 for a 3-hour public appearance. She flies first class, and demands a limo back and forth to the airport.

MAKAI 11-29-2011 05:54 PM

My God!
You can find a last call bang a skank like that in every rat hole bar from here to the Pacific. Sad commentary on Americanism.

mid season, I want solitude... almost december, I want FISH!!! and will tend to tolerate conditions I normally would shy away from... as is the case with most of us.
