WESTPORTMAFIA 11-28-2011 09:39 PM

I would hate to be Wendy when people start complaining about colors running:fury:

jlnel 11-28-2011 09:40 PM

what that lil knob , chrome, on frame by the reel seat?

WESTPORTMAFIA 11-28-2011 09:44 PM

I don't own one but I know Wendy just as well as everyone that owns or doesn't own one just from reading posts. Customer service thing for the z lovers:love::rotf2:

They really are a work of art...It took me a while to appreciate the high end stuff, but I do now. Life's short - enhancing the experience is worth something.

JohnnySaxatilis 11-28-2011 11:25 PM

chris always has the nice stuff. i remember talkin to him about customizing a zx27 with some flashy color schemes, when i saw this pic on their site it reminded me of him!

The only thing different color on my vs is the chrome left after the scratches lol

I agree joe!

Haha johnny these have been out for a while now.

And made in the US again.

I'm getting a custom black and silver one to go on my new custom lami saltheart is going to build me over the winter.

The lil knob near the seat is the hook keeper so you don't have to hang you plugs on your guides.

I love my zee 27, drag is super smooth and lays line better than my vs.

There customer service is great and now that Ron from lordship is there things have improved a lot.

Nice - I knew the era of going "low profile" was on its way out years ago when VS started to make gold reels.

I'll stick with black. It matches any rod and doesn't scream "STEAL ME" like the flashy colors.

I would be upset with any reel that raised its voice.

I've never had it happen to me, but I have heard that sometimes the reels drag will scream when you hook a big fish. I'm hoping to someday hook a fish that pulls drag.:)

DZ you know me, I'm not exactly low profile in any way.

Yesterday while fishing soco a older guy walking the beach asked me how long it had been since I fished since I got out, he said I looked like a convict!
